Introduction
Adding verified domains from within your Elastic Email account is required to prove ownership of the domain from which outgoing messages will be sent. You must complete this step before configuring the Elastic Email Integration in Gravity SMTP.

Adding a New Verified Sender Domain
- Go to Settings > Manage Domains page in the Elastic Email dashboard.
- On the verification page, click on Start Verification.
- Click Verify domain under the I own a domain section.
- Enter the domain name that you want to verify and click Continue.
Adding DNS Records
To verify ownership of your domain and enable the use of this domain with Elastic Email, you will need to add multiple DNS records for the domain you have just added. Elastic Email will run verification against these DNS records. Your next step is to visit your DNS provider for the domain and add each DNS record provided by Elastic Email.

How do I know the domain is verified and is working?
It will show as Verified under Status on your Verified Senders page.
Adding a New Verified Single Sender Email
Note: Only use this option to verify a sender email if you cannot modify your domain’s DNS settings. If your email domain has a DMARC policy restricting email servers, you won’t be able to add it this way and will need to verify the domain instead.
- Go to Settings > Manage Domains page in the Elastic Email dashboard.
For each Single Sender Email, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
