Introduction
To enable Gravity SMTP to send messages via your Elastic Email account, you must provide the plugin with an Elastic Email API key. This step must be completed before configuring the Elastic Email Integration in Gravity SMTP. This article outlines the steps to generate a new API key from your Elastic Email account.
Refer to the API keys documentation from the official Elastic Email website for more information and related articles.
Generating A New API Key
- Go to Settings > API page in the Elastic Email dashboard.
- Click on Create Additional API key.
- Enter a descriptive name for your key.
- In the Permissions screen, select Plugin.
- Once done, click on Create.
- Copy and save your API key, as it will connect the Gravity SMTP plugin to your Elastic Email account. Once you close this window, you cannot retrieve it.
Once you have added and verified a sender, you can configure your Elastic Email Integration settings within Gravity SMTP.
