Obtaining your Resend API Key

Introduction

To send messages through your Resend account with Gravity SMTP, you’ll need to provide a Resend API key. This is required before you can configure the Resend integration in Gravity SMTP.

This article outlines steps to generate a new API key from your Resend account.

Generating a New API Key

  1. Open Resend and choose API Keys in the left-hand menu.

  1. Click Create API Key.
  2. Give the key a clear description.
    Set Permissions to Full access.
    Select a Domain for which the API Key will be enabled.

  1. Click Add. Resend immediately shows the API Key string. Copy it now since it will only be displayed once.
